  6. DataCamp Data Connector data is stored in AWS S3 buckets, so it would be helpful if the aws.s3 package was installed in R workspaces, and the s3-bucket package was installed in Python workpaces.

  7. On the dashboard page, you have to really concentrate to know whether you are looking at your personal dashboard or your group dashboard. I keep creating Workspaces with the wrong scope, and since you can't transfer personal Workspaces to the Group or vice versa, it's a manual copy and paste job.

I'd like to have a different theme for the personal vs group dashboard pages. Maybe different themes for the personal vs group workspace editor too, so that I can tell at a glance what the scope is.

  8. The simplified mode is good enough, however, it lacks of a Dark Mode, and a way of hiding the Code like the normal IDE, also moving the tabs up and down would be better with an indexing method or a drag and drop, also you can move the top most tab to the bottom, but you can't move the bottom most tab to the top.
This features would be cool to implement.

  9. Since students use this platform, It would be great if it allows peers to collaborate and work in the same place. Google docs options like viewing, editing can be allowed

  10. Make it easy to save an existing Workspace as a template.

The template should include any files in the directory (at least code and data files) and any Integrations.

Ideally, it should be possible to choose sharing permissions for the template: it is personal/private, public, or available to anyone in the same B2B group or team.

  12. The URL for a publication includes a slug consisting of hexadecimal values and hyphens.

I'd like to be able to specify a more aesthetically pleasing or memorable URL.

  14. It would be amazing to follow people or categorize them into a favorite folder, and follow them with their new dashboards, and new ideas.
This would help people to improve their code, improve their ideas and have a "repository" like folder where they can find the things they want to print or approach in their data.

  15. Jupyterlab supports a git integration extension, could we please have that added for git functionality right from jupyterlab rather than having to resort to the command line.

  16. As fun as this could be, need a lot more information

    (1) Are secrets kept secret? What is your management policy?

    (2) What are the terms of service? Can I bring in several GB of open data into the workspace?

  19. How do I decide which template workspaces are suitable for me? There are lots of them, and the only tools provided to discover if it might be interesting to look at are filtering by technology, and a sentence of description.

I want to filter templates by the skills demonstrated in the template (or at least topics).

I'd also like to see prerequisite courses so I know that I have the skills needed to work with that template before I open it.
